Our story began:

  • 1929: Founded as a roofing company by Leo Ohnsorg, the great-grandfather of the current company owner.
  • 1954: Establishment and integration of a building plumbing business.
  • 1959: Workshop expansion.
  • 1965: The company was converted into a corporation and received its current name, Ohnsorg Söhne AG.
  • 1979: The roofing business was spun off.
  • 1982: Expansion of the workshop with the construction of a larger hall.
  • 1993: Specialization in fine sheet metal products: chimney hats and ventilation hats.
  • 2000: Development and expansion of the product range.
  • 2007: Opening of the first Western Switzerland Office in Yverdon.
  • 2009: Opening of the Quartino branch in the spring.
  • 2009: Opening of the branch in Wangs in the fall.
  • 2011: Construction of a new production hall and commissioning of a state-of-the-art laser cutting system.
  • 2015: Expansion of the machinery with state-of-the-art press brakes.
  • 2016: Participated as an exhibitor at the “Dach+Holz International” fair in Stuttgart.
  • 2017: Development of the company’s app.
  • 2018: Participated as an exhibitor at the “Dach+Holz International” fair in Cologne.
  • 2018: Expansion of the laser cutting system with additional modules.
  • 2019: Development of a new company website.
  • 2020: Opening of the branch in Füllinsdorf BL in the winter.
  • 2023: In-house development of software to streamline work processes.
