The proven rotating chimneys with the Ohnsorg patent axis have an extremely low response threshold (1 m/s). Even with the slightest wind speeds, the chimney cap immediately turns in the direction of the wind. The optimal function of these excellent rotating properties is only guaranteed if the rotating chimney cap is absolutely perfect, i.e., mounted exactly vertically. (Always verify with a spirit level!)
Important:
The correctly mounted rotating chimney cap works with the accuracy of the wind direction sensor of a weather station.
